Job Description
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: Makarpura
Employment Type: Full-Time
The Accountant will manage financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. The role involves handling bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, managing tax compliance, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the financial health of the organization.
- Accounting & Bookkeeping:
- Record and maintain financial transactions using accounting software.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Provide insights into financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Taxation & Compliance:
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and income tax returns.
- Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
- Coordinate with auditors and prepare audit documentation.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage the company s cash flow and funding operations.
- Ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations.
- Prepare funding reports and track fund utilization.
- Internal Controls:
- Develop and implement robust financial processes to prevent discrepancies.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure adherence to financial policies.
- Coordination & Support:
- Liaise with banks, funding institutions, and external auditors.
- Collaborate with other departments for financial planning and decision-making.
- Education: Bachelors In Commerce/Masters In Commerce.
- Experience: 01-03 Years.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally).
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with funding operations and cash flow management is an advantage.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Standard office environment with occasional travel for audits or client meetings.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
