CONTEXT & OPPORTUNITY
DivIHN Integration Inc. (pronounced Divine ) is a US based Information Technology Advisory and Consulting Services provider ( www.DivIHN.com ). We have been in business since 2002 and foresee good growth ahead. We intend to support the current Finance team by adding a capable Senior Accountant in India.
We are seeking a capable Senior Accountant (SA) to join DivIHN in India, and work with the Finance team in the US. The SA will work closely with both US and India based colleagues in the Finance team and will also interact with other departments within DivIHN, technical employees and consultants of DivIHN and other stakeholders.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The SA will be responsible for the management and reporting of financial data of DivIHN. Main duties include accurately recording financial transactions, preparing financial statements, examining, reconciling and analyzing the company s accounts, internal reporting and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting policies and procedures.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The SA will report to the US based Finance Manager of DivIHN. Responsibilities of the SA will include:
Primarily responsible for accounting operations of the US entity including preparation of periodic financial statements/ reports.
Ensure that books comply with generally accepted accounting principles and local in-country compliance requirements.
Ensure timely closure of all audits, internal or external and timely filing of tax returns and all statutory reports.
Responsible for assessing the risks and improving internal controls across processes at regular intervals.
SA will ensure streamlining of various policies, procedures and controls and ensure they are aligned with Management goals and culture.
The SA will work closely with other Finance functions including billing, taxation, treasury, payroll, etc. to ensure smooth operations of the entity, manage cash flow, and ensure timely and accurate payments to employees / vendors.
Working with cross-functional teams and ensuring that the monthly closure activities and accurate reporting are achieved within expected timelines.
Follow up/Escalate open items towards resolution in a timely manner.
Assist the Finance Manager on special projects, including bank and statutory audits, tax filings, employee benefit plans and other legal compliance documents.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
The potential SA will be an energetic person with strong work habits and with excellent organization and time management skills. He/she will be a quick learner and a strong team player. He/she will have the following experience/ qualifications:
A Chartered Accountant or equivalent education with 5+ years of previous experience in an Accountant role
QuickBooks Experience a plus
Prior experience working within the Finance department of a US company is plus.
Strong skills in MS-Excel
Very good verbal and written communication (in English)
Good interpersonal skills and empathetic work attitude
