We are seeking an experienced and strategic Principal Recruiter to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in developing talent pipelines and collaborating on proposals for RFPs and bids, primarily focusing on federal and corporate recruitment needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in talent acquisition, strong knowledge of proposal processes, and expertise in building candidate networks tailored to specific project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Pipeline Development:
Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for high-priority roles, including niche positions for federal projects and corporate bids.
Identify potential candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, and referrals.
Develop strategies to attract talent with specialized skills, certifications, and clearance levels required for RFPs.
Proposal Collaboration:
Collaborate with business development and proposal teams to align talent acquisition efforts with RFP requirements.
Provide input on staffing plans, including candidate profiles and availability for bids and proposals.
Assist in drafting staffing-related sections of proposals to ensure compliance with client requirements.
Candidate Sourcing Screening:
Leverage multiple sourcing channels, including ATS systems, job boards, LinkedIn, and niche platforms, to identify qualified professionals.
Conduct thorough screenings to evaluate technical qualifications, certifications, and cultural fit.
Recruitment Strategy:
Define recruitment strategies for specialized roles based on project goals and timelines.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices for recruiting in niche fields like cybersecurity, IT, and Salesforce.
Database Management:
Create and maintain a centralized database to track candidates for ongoing and future proposals.
Regularly update candidate information and ensure alignment with project needs.
Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and candidates.
Act as a subject matter expert on recruitment for federal and corporate projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5 to 12 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on federal or corporate recruitment.
Proven experience in RFP staffing and proposal collaboration.
Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment tools (eg, LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems).
Familiarity with federal hiring standards and security clearance requirements is a plus.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
