Vadilal is the third largest company in India for manufacturing ice cream, with a production capacity of 3.25 lacs litres per day. We have an opportunity for a "Deputy Manager / Manager - Accounts and Finance(CA) - International Business" at the Ahmedabad (Gujarat)Location.


Bond: 3 years


Shift Time: Australia, Canada and the US



Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous Chartered Accountant to oversee our financial operations with precision and integrity. The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. This role requires strategic collaboration with various departments to optimize financial performance and uphold organizational standards.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards (Ind AS and IFRS).
  • Conduct comprehensive variance analysis and provide strategic insights into financial performance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts based on thorough analysis and market insights.
  • Monitor budgetary performance and prepare detailed reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Recommend adjustments to financial plans as necessary to achieve organizational goals.

3. Compliance and Audit Oversight:

  • Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits efficiently, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Implement audit recommendations to strengthen internal controls and mitigate financial risks.

4. Taxation and Financial Planning:

  • Manage comprehensive tax planning strategies and ensure timely compliance with tax filings.
  • Stay alongside evolving tax laws and regulations to optimize financial outcomes for the organization.

5. Financial Controls and Process Improvement:

  • Develop and enforce robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies within the finance function.

6. Financial Strategy and Decision Support:

  • Provide strategic financial insights and guidance to senior management to support organizational growth objectives.
  • Conduct thorough financial modelling and analysis to inform strategic planning and business development initiatives.

7. Leadership and Team Development:

  • Mentor and supervise junior accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Ms Office and SAP is must.
  • Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and driving process improvements in a dynamic business environment.
