Finance Manager - CA (5-8 yrs)

Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

- Manage the full accounting cycle for manufacturing operations, including general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and plant accounting.

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) for manufacturing operations using SAP.

- Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for manufacturing accounting.

- Perform fixed asset accounting, including depreciation calculations and reconciliations.

- Manage month-end closing procedures for manufacturing operations.

- Analyze financial data and prepare detailed management reports to support informed business decisions.

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations.

- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with tax regulations (including GST).

- Liaise with other departments (e., production, procurement) to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional accounting qualification.

- 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a minimum of 6 years specifically in a manufacturing environment.

- Proven experience working with SAP in a manufacturing setting.

- In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles, plant accounting, and financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
