Hiring For Oracle Apex Developer - Remote Contract

Position: Oracle APEX Developer

Experience Level: 5+ Years

Location: Remote

Employment Type: 9 months contract

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST

Responsibilities:

• Application Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Develop PL/SQL code and web services to support application functionality.
• Database Management:
• Optimize and maintain Oracle databases, including performance tuning, data modeling, and database design.
• Ensure data integrity and security.
• Integration and Testing:
• Integrate Oracle APEX applications with other enterprise systems.
• Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure quality and functionality.
• Documentation:
• Create and maintain documentation for developed applications, including design documents, user guides, and training materials.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with other developers, DBAs, and IT staff to achieve project goals.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL.
• Experience with Oracle database technologies, including Oracle 11g/12c/19c.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Knowledge of RESTful web services and JSON.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Preferred:
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
