CSR Intern

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments in communities around the factory areas to identify potential CSR initiatives aligned with company policies.
• Engage with the plant head, HR head, and other key stakeholders to understand the companys goals and priorities.
• Research and document the socio-economic challenges of the local community, focusing on education, health, environment, and skill development.
• Prepare project proposals based on identified needs and feasibility studies.
• Build relationships with local government bodies, district administration, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
• Collaborate with institutions like schools, hospitals, and self-help groups to understand community needs and align them with CSR objectives.
• Participate in meetings with plant heads, Plant HR , and community leaders to discuss project ideas and gather inputs.
• Gather baseline data and key performance indicators (KPIs) for proposed projects.
• Maintain proper documentation and report findings in alignment with company standards.
• Assist with any additional tasks related to CSR operations as assigned by the department.

Preferred candidate profile

• Students pursuing or recent graduates of BSW, MSW, or similar fields.
• Must have a strong interest in community development
• Should be available for an internship during February - March
• Local language proficiency is mandatory
