Automation Engineer - CI/CD Tools (7-10 yrs)

Job Title: CI/CD Automation Engineer. Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Trivandrum, Pune, Noida.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

- Implement automated build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate software delivery.

- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for performance, reliability, and security.

- Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline issues.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.

- Design and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions.

- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) using automation tools.

- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting.

- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency.

- Integrate various tools and systems using scripting.

- Create and maintain documentation for automation scripts and processes.

- Implement automated testing frameworks and tools.

- Ensure code quality and compliance with coding standards.

- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to developers.

- Implement automated security checks within the pipeline.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth software delivery.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

- Participate in agile development processes.

- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps trends and technologies.

- Participate in knowledge sharing and training sessions.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience in CI/CD automation and DevOps.

- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.

- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python and Shell scripting.

- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
