Assistant Manager - HR Operations

Role & responsibilities

Recruitment Management:

• Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviews, and selection.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Employee Lifecycle Management:

• Oversee onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
• Manage employee records, performance evaluations, and career development plans.
• Implement and monitor employee engagement and retention strategies.

Compliance and Statutory Regulations:

• Ensure adherence to all applicable labor laws and statutory regulations related to factories.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including changes and updates.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for payroll, attendance, and leave management.

Attendance, Leave Management, and Payroll:

• Oversee attendance tracking systems and manage leave requests and approvals.
• Collaborate with payroll departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of salaries and benefits.
• Monitor and resolve any discrepancies in attendance and payroll records.

Statutory Compliance and Contract Labour Management:

• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to contract labor.
• Manage relationships with contract labor providers and ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of contract labor practices.

Liaisoning with Government Authorities:

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Handle inquiries, inspections, and audits conducted by government authorities.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure the organizations compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

• MBA in Human Resources with minimum of 4 years of experience in an HR role with significant exposure to recruitment, compliance, and employee lifecycle management.
• Proven experience in HR management, with a focus on recruitment and employee lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with attendance management, leave policies, and payroll processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with government authorities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
