Role Overview Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with a strong background in automation testing and creating and executing comprehensive test cases. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the trading, investment, or FinTech domains. The QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform based on Product specs/design mockups
● Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
● Working closely with designers and product managers to deliver premium customer experience through mobile apps.
● Identifying and resolving performance problems within the app
● Help maintain the code quality using code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing.
● Contribute to the growth of the team by mentoring/knowledge sharing.

MUST Skills:
● Programming experience with Kotlin
● Experience with reactive programming (Kotlin coroutines/Flows/Rx)
● Strong understanding of Android Jetpack components(LiveData, Room database etc) and android ecosystem in general
● Excellent communication (Speaking/Writing) skills
● Deep understanding of Android/ Material Design system/conventions.
● Git, Github workflows(PRs)

Ideal Candidate:
● Have 3-6 years of experience in building Kotlin based Android applications in a product organization.
● Is passionate about the Android ecosystem and programming in general.
● Has great attention to detail, when it comes to UI/UX
● Takes pride in the code you write, cares a lot about code quality.
● Is curious, Loves to explore/experiment with stuff. Self-taught a few things.
