Responsibilities
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Integration of data storage solutions
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter and Laravel).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Design and optimize database schemas for performance and reliability.
- Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of the applications.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements.
Skills And Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a senior PHP developer (4-6 years).
- Proficient in PHP development with a focus on CodeIgniter or Laravel frameworks.
- Extensive experience working with databases; strong knowledge of SQL and database design.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, to collaborate effectively with the front-end team.
- Ability to design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient web applications.
- In-depth knowledge of web application architecture and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
- Strong portfolio showcasing web applications developed using CodeIgniter or Laravel.
- Experience with database management and optimization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
