Systems Software Senior Engineer

Job Summary:

The candidate should have experience in internal audits, process audits, and internal control concepts, including the COSO Framework and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). They should be familiar with IT systems and ERP environments. The role involves leading or working with a team on internal control models, collaborating with stakeholders to address complex issues, and providing recommendations. The candidate should also help with completing tasks, developing deliverables, and reporting progress.

During a Typical Day, You ll

Experience in Internal Audit/ Process Audit concepts methodology

COSO Framework

Processes, Sub-processes, and Activities as well as their relationship

Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX)

Internal control concepts (e.g., Preventive Controls; Detective Controls; Anti-fraud Controls; etc.)

IT System(s) in use/ ERP Environment

Comfortable working on an IC model or leading a team of Specialist/ Associate

Collaboration with the different stakeholders on the complex assessment issues to develop possible recommendations

Documents findings and proposes recommendations that deal with root cause of issues and impact to the organization

Should be able to assist with the timely completion of tasks, development of client deliverables and status reporting.

What You Bring to the Role

Over 6 years of experience in SOX compliance

A completed degree is required

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
