Key Responsibilities:
Instruction & Curriculum Delivery:
Teach Mathematics at the senior secondary level (Class 11 and 12) in alignment with the school s curriculum.
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that are engaging and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Use various teaching methods and technology tools to facilitate learning and ensure a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
Design, administer, and grade assignments, quizzes, and exams in a timely manner.
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of Mathematics and incorporate contemporary teaching techniques.
Student Performance & Development:
Regularly assess students understanding through tests, assignments, and classroom activities.
Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic performance and guide them in areas for improvement.
Identify and support students who may need additional academic help or resources.
Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students, fostering intellectual curiosity in the subject.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment in the classroom.
Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure all students are engaged and behave respectfully.
Promote a collaborative environment where students are encouraged to discuss and share ideas.
Handle student queries and challenges both inside and outside the classroom.
Parent & Student Communication:
Communicate regularly with parents regarding students academic progress and behavior.
Organize parent-teacher meetings to keep parents informed and engaged in their child s learning journey.
Provide guidance to students in their academic and personal development.
Co-Curricular Involvement:
Participate in school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities that complement the curriculum.
Encourage students to participate in mathematics-related competitions and activities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Continuous Professional Development:
Participate in teacher training workshops, seminars, and other professional development opportunities.
Stay updated on the latest trends in Mathematics education and integrate new techniques into classroom teaching.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Qualifications:
Master s Degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. in Mathematics) or equivalent.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Mathematics at the senior secondary level (Classes 11 and 12).
Experience with CBSE or similar curriculum is preferred.
