**Job Title: IT Infrastructure Discovery Development Architect**

**Job Overview:**
The IT Infrastructure Discovery Development Architect plays a pivotal role in spearheading comprehensive discovery techniques and processes related to infrastructure, applications, and their components. This position entails designing and implementing scalable architectures, formulating effective strategies, and utilizing advanced discovery methodologies to enhance visibility across the entire IT landscape.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze and develop robust solutions for the discovery of applications and their components, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
- Conduct thorough analyses for infrastructure middleware discovery, encompassing load balancers, clusters, application servers, web servers, and database servers.
- Identify and assess suitable discovery techniques for various infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with the development team to effectively implement discovery solutions.
- Utilize advanced discovery techniques tailored for cloud-based and containerized applications.
- Analyze application data to discern dependencies, performance metrics, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Establish methodologies and best practices to improve visibility and control over the application environment.
- Maintain detailed documentation of discovery processes, architectures, and findings.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to members of the development team.

**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in IT architecture, specifically focused on infrastructure and application discovery.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing effective discovery solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, application architecture, databases, and middleware components.
- Strong understanding of microservices, containerization, and cloud technologies.
- Proficient in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, Shell, and PowerShell.
- Experience with automation tools, particularly Ansible.
- Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with application discovery tools and methodologies such as TADDM, ServiceNow, BMC, and SolarWinds.
- Experience with Configuration Management Databases (CMDB).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications, such as ITIL, are a plus
