Job Context & Major Challenges:
Key Challenges:
1. With the increase in the RM costs maintain the PC/MRP ratio without compromising on the quality is also a big challenge for this position Product innovation
2. Adapting to fashion trends and product pricing has become very important to keep up the competitive edge
3. Not having fix vendor matrix so training the vendors every season is a challenge which impacts the timely inwards shorter production lead time
3. Principal Accountabilities Accountability Supporting Actions
Improve efficiency:
- Creating base file by taking last year and current year sale (WTD, MTD and YTD), mapping store type and comparing with the automated report.
- Providing base file of L2L report to all the departments
Process efficiency and product availability:
- Checking the current SOH (Stock on hand) against base stock of all the stores and finding the gaps
- Allocating fresh stocks to each store as per requirement and planogram.
- Tracking the actual GRN (Goods Received Note) against the plan (month wise)
Category MIS reports preparation:
- Track SSPD / MSPD / L2L Growth / Sell thru / Business growth for division/brands.
- Analysis of Mark down and monitor weekly performance of a promotion against the plan
- Weekly sales and Publish 4 week and 8-week data
- Core availability & high runner performance reporting
- Provide inputs to daily ASN reports prepared by Category and for ASN approvals
Sales Planning:
- Create a sales Projection at Brand /Cat/MC level
- Weekly monitoring of sales vs. actuals and prepare proposal for mark downs or promotions to meet sales targets with inputs from category and Front-end teams.
