Overview

TRC is looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead the development, administration, and integration of the ServiceNow platform. This role involves creating custom applications, building integrations, and managing upgrades while adhering to best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within Agile teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, including ITSM, CMDB, Service Portal, and custom modules
• Configure and maintain data integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Design and implement advanced workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and ACLs
• Build portal widgets and pages using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Perform platform upgrades, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Conduct system and integration testing, monitor platform health, and ensure compliance with best practice.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues, providing escalation support (5+ years).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, gather stakeholder requirements, and implement scalable solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices for platform configuration and development.
• Document technical processes, configurations, and design decisions for compliance and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5 9 years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in ServiceNow development and administration.
• 4+ years of designing ServiceNow architecture, workflows, and data models.
• 3 5 years of experience with integrations, web services, and scripted REST APIs.
• 5+ years of data transformation and importing expertise.
• 3+ years of HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow Portal experience.
• 5 7 years of scripting expertise in business rules, client scripts, and script includes.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, JSON, and AJAX.
• Expertise in ITSM, CMDB, Performance Analytics, and Service Portal modules.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and lifecycle management principles.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer (Preferred).
• ITIL Certification. (Preferred)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within Agile teams, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions.
