Sales and Marketing engineer

Position Description:

Transcend Cleantec Pvt Ltd seeks an Sales and Support Engineer to further their business growth and actively assists in all the sales support tasks

Job Responsibilities:

• Generating Sales leads through various online and offline channels
• Identifying the Key Customers in the territory, doing cold calls to identify prospects to be focused, generating enquiries from them, submitting quotations and doing the required follow up till closure.
• Preparing offer status report
• Arranging meeting with customers, meeting the customer to discuss about their requirement in detail.
• Closing new orders with Involvement of sales head as and when required.
• All new customer data updated within the specified period in MIS system
• Creating Monthly Sales Visit Plan and ensuring adherence to same.
• Ensuring all assigned Sales Enquiries are progressed till Order Closure stage & publish the Sales Report on monthly basis and review the same with the sales head.
• Ensuring proper coordination with the commercial team so that invoices are created as per timeline specified in the customer purchase order & submitted to right person on client side
• Ensuring payment collection of all invoices on or before due date by following up with clients for pending & upcoming invoice
• During trade shows and exhibitions sales, generating leads
• After the show following up with the leads, settling payment dues of organizers and vendors.
• Handling of spare part order from inquiry stage till payment and consignment clearance and delivery.
• Sending introductory emails to leads generated through trade fairs or those which come through Principals or agents. The inquiry is then forwarded to technical team for technical discussions
• Primary attending any case of breakdown/complaint of machine in your area. Correcting the errors in operation or breakdown of machine if possible. Else coordinate with the project team for further action.

Sales Support:

• Processing orders for spares, proforma/OC, payment, delivery etc.
• Maintaining sufficient stock of leaflets/brochures/catalogues

Requirements (experience/skills):

• 4-8 Years of Experience in the role of Field Sales Engineer for Industrial Tools
• Into active field sales
• Good at new customer acquisition
• Well versed with RFQ, Quotations making till order closure
• Actively involved in order closure and Payment collection process
• Passionate about Sales Target Achievement
• Experience in equipment/machinery sales preferred
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Internet, etc.)
• Good presentation skills
• Outstanding time management, organizational skills, and work ethics

Compensation:

• Compensation includes an attractive base salary and performance-based bonuses after trainee/probation periods.
