Job Description

Roles and responsibilities-

  • Handle recruitment process, request for manpower to come to HR from functional Head & GM. Any deviation from the approved manpower plan has to be approved by the GM.
  • Issue Appointment letter at the time of joining & it should not take more than 2-3 days to issue
  • Collect all relative documents at the time of joining & Induction program has to be conducted before sending person to the department to work
  • General HR Letters related to all issues
  • Conduct disciplinary rules pertaining to unit & to make sure it is implemented
  • Ensure all personal records are up to dated which can be checked any time. For those who don't have identification documents, provisions to be made to document the same.
  • Periodical Appraisal Form Department wise to be monitored and evaluated and send the report to Corporate HR half yearly. 30 days to be given to Corporate HR for feedback on the appraisal forms, failing which unit should take action. frequency to be based on the increment cycle.
  • Payroll /Attendance/Leave Records to be maintained at every entry of leave
  • To check the salary sheet doubly before sending to corporate of any staff missing from sheet
  • The leave form to be updated & signed by H.R. with balance leave on the form & then forwarded for approval & up dated in records& timely
  • Handling staff grievances and adopt remedial measures
  • Update statutory records, liaising with Government labor authorities
  • Handle union activities and attend conciliation meeting , Labor court, Tribunals as and when necessary & keep the G.M. updated
  • Co-ordination with all the HODs in order to adopt measures to increase staff productivity and enhance motivation
  • Apprise the Management about the organizational climate of the unit from time to time in a positive way, half Yearly. C sat Scores to be the base point.
  • Update, coordinate with all Legal cases and matters (resort, local issues, corporate case matters liaisoning with local lawyers and courts and Govt Offices in Orissa.
  • Timely coordinate and initiate on renewal of Licenses and deposit of their requisite fees such wireless systems, Food licenses, land revenue cases, and taxes & etc.
  • Make a rapport with the Govt/. Non-Govt.authorities specifically Police/Forest/DLO/PF/ESI/Other statutory bodies for better relations. To finalize the frame work for budget.
  • Check the Uniform & personal grooming of the staff on daily basis, HODs to ensure the same , else not to be taken on duty.(dressing implementation to be discussed with DM)
  • Ensure the protection of all the attended and un attended goods and articles of the resort from the pilferage by the outsiders
  • Training and development-
    • Assess organizational training needs and design appropriate learning programs.
    • Promote career development and succession planning for key roles.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjust as needed.

Salary as per industry standard.
