Pytest Automation Tester

We are seeking experienced professionals with hands-on expertise in Pytest, Python, and test automation tools. The role requires the ability to work independently, build test automation frameworks, and ensure the quality of various cloud platform applications, including Azure, Databricks, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

1. Test Automation Framework Development:

   • Understand data automation requirements.
   • Design and build automation frameworks using Pytest, Selenium, and other testing tools.
   • Enhance and maintain data quality automation frameworks.

2. API and Functional Testing:

   • Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
   • Ensure thorough testing of application APIs, including functional, performance, and security testing.

3. Scripting & Development:

   • Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Python and Pytest scripts.
   • Implement automation for ETL pipelines and data validation workflows.

4. Data Engineering & Quality:

   • Manage and design frameworks for Data Engineering, Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Data Security, and ETL pipelines.

5. Cloud & CI/CD Implementation:

   • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based solutions across Azure, Databricks, and GCP.

6. Stakeholder Communication:

   • Manage client communication effectively.
   • Provide recommendations for implementation best practices and suggest improvements for existing applications.

7. Collaboration & Delivery:

   • Independently drive and deliver application modules with minimal supervision.
   • Stay updated with emerging automation testing trends and tools to improve testing efficiency.

• Core Expertise: Python, Pytest, Selenium.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, or similar).
• Experience with Databricks, GCP, Azure, and scripting.
• Testing Tools: Strong knowledge of test automation tools, frameworks, and libraries.
• Proficient in data quality automation and data validation workflows.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Certification: Python/Pytest certifications will be preferred.

• Knowledge of Great Expectations (data validation framework).
• Experience with Pydeequ (data quality validation).
• Familiarity with other testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Katalon Studio).
• Understanding of performance and load testing for cloud platforms.
