QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary:.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium to ensure the quality and reliability of software solutions in the healthcare domain.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts while ensuring compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:.

Test Automation Development:.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver for web-based applications.

Implement end-to-end test automation frameworks to validate application functionality.

Testing Strategy:.

Design comprehensive test strategies and plans tailored to healthcare applications.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Collaboration:.

Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand application requirements.

Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings to ensure QA is an integral part of the development cycle.

Documentation:.

Document and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Report and track defects using tools like JIRA or equivalent.

Compliance:.

Ensure automated tests comply with healthcare standards (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) and data privacy regulations.

Validate secure handling of patient data during application testing.

Continuous Improvement:.

Optimize and enhance existing test scripts and frameworks.

Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in test automation.

Requirements.

Qualifications:.

Education:.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:.

5+ years of experience in QA automation using Selenium.

Experience in the healthcare domain or familiarity with healthcare standards (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).

Technical Skills:.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python, or C# for Selenium automation.

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).

Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.

Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
