Job Description

Responsibilities:

Automation Script Development:

Playwright experience is mandatory

Design, develop, and maintain robust automation scripts using Playwright and Selenium for web application testing.

Create reusable components and frameworks to enhance test efficiency and coverage.

Web Application Testing:

Automate end-to-end UI workflows, functional tests, and cross-browser testing scenarios.

Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize test scripts for improved execution performance.

REST API Testing:

Design and execute REST API test cases to validate endpoints, responses, and data integrity.

Develop automation scripts to test API functionalities using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent libraries.

Integration and CI/CD:

Integrate automation scripts into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of test environments.

Defect Management:

Identify, document, and report bugs and performance issues.

Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects.

Collaboration and Documentation:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, development, and product management.

Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation reports.

Requirements:

Technical Expertise:

Strong experience with Playwright is mandatory

Selenium for test automation.

Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript and Java.

API Testing Skills:

Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API testing tools.

Experience in automating API tests and validating performance metrics.

CI/CD and Version Control:

Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, or similar tools for continuous integration.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Effective communication and ability to work in an Agile environment.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of other testing tools like Cypress, JMeter, or LoadRunner.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
