As the Erlang Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of Erlang-based solutions. You will play a key role in shaping the technical strategy and roadmap for our Erlang projects, ensuring that our solutions are scalable, efficient, and reliable.

Key responsibilities for this role include :

- Leading and managing a team of Erlang developers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions that align with business objectives

- Taking ownership of the technical architecture, design, and code quality of Erlang projects, ensuring best practices are followed

- Contributing to the design and development of new features and functionalities, and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise

- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Erlang and functional programming, and leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills :

- Strong expertise in Erlang programming language and OTP framework, with a deep understanding of functional programming concepts

- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of developers, with an ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential

- Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, fault tolerance, and high availability concepts

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with stakeholders

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Write clean, robust application code in Erlang

- Lead the development team, assist in scoping, estimating, and planning of projects.

- Mentor the new team members into Erlang and Telecom Systems.

- Decode 3GPP standards and produce LLD that can be implemented using Erlang

- Participate in code review, pairing, and other forms of knowledge sharing

- Help in architectural analysis and designing enterprise-wide systems

- Developing, enhancing, and maintaining established code and procedure of service design for assuring appropriate and robust service design.

- Follow best practices for our scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant

- Implement coding best practices

- Produce clear and strong documentation

Technical Requirements :

- Extremely good with functional programming concepts

- Programming with Erlang, Python

- Solid understanding of OTP, Mnesia, Inets, Diameter, RPC, Rebar3,

- Experience designing backend APIs

- Strong experience with Linux/Unix

- Knowledge of fault-tolerance, and distributed architectures

- Source code management tools such as Git

- Excellent technical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills including Wireshark, Network traces.
