Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop a team of Collections Representatives and Billing Support Representatives, ensuring work is completed in an accurate and timely manner in line with our SLAs
Review customer accounts to proactively communicate with customers and internal partners to ensure collection of all outstanding invoice totals
Prioritize and manage escalations by working closely with collection representatives and cross functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
Respond to customer account inquiries and follow through to resolution in a timely manner
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, establishing and maintaining regular cadences to discuss, and track process improvements.
Post customer payments, refunds, and deposits by recording ACH and credit card transactions
Provide training and guidance to collection representatives on the end-to-end billing and collection process, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet operational goals.
Review and ensure that SOPs are current and lead efforts to streamline collection team deliverables for efficiency.
Take ownership of key deliverables, including publishing SLA dashboards and key highlights on a monthly basis to monitor performance
Consistently meet strict deadlines related to month-end close.
Demonstrate strong people management skills by developing, mentoring and fostering growth within the team.
Apply problem solving skills to address day-to-day collection operations issues and effectively manage the workload of collection representatives.
