Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Head - Stainless Steel to oversee the production and operational management of our stainless steel recycling plant. The ideal candidate will lead a team of professionals, ensuring the plant operates efficiently, meets quality standards, and achieves production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant Operations:
   
• Oversee all aspects of stainless steel recycling operations, including melting, refining, and casting processes.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and optimize operational efficiency.
2. Quality Control:
   
• Maintain high standards of product quality and ensure compliance with industry and environmental standards.
• Develop and implement quality assurance programs.
3. Team Management:
   
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of safety and innovation.
• Ensure adequate training and development for staff to meet operational goals.
4. Process Improvement:
   
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma practices as applicable.
5. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
   
• Ensure the plant complies with all HSE regulations and practices.
• Promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
6. Budget Management:
   
• Prepare and manage the plant's operational budget, ensuring cost control and resource optimization.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve financial goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in stainless steel recycling or related industries, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of stainless steel recycling processes and industry best practices.
• Proven track record in operational excellence and people management.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and production software is an advantage.

We are looking for an experienced and driven Plant Head - Rebar and Section Mill to manage the production and operations of our rebar and section mill. The role involves ensuring high-quality output, optimizing plant processes, and achieving operational and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management:
   
• Lead operations for rebar and section mill production, including rolling, finishing, and packaging processes.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining product quality and specifications.
2. Equipment Maintenance:
   
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery to ensure minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement an effective maintenance program.
3. Quality Assurance:
   
• Establish and enforce quality control systems to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
• Analyze production data to address quality issues and implement corrective measures.
4. Cost and Resource Optimization:
   
• Manage production costs effectively while ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
• Drive energy-efficient practices to reduce operational costs.
5. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
   
• Maintain compliance with HSE standards and promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for staff.
6. Leadership:
   
• Supervise and develop a skilled workforce to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the steel industry, particularly in rebar and section mill operations, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in rolling mill processes and equipment.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large teams and achieving operational excellence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
