Plant Head Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

• Oversee the daily operations of the solar module manufacturing plant, ensuring performance and efficiency.
• Ensure On time delivery
• Ensure excellent quality
• Operational Budget planning and adherence
• Lead Productivity and employee engagement
• Lean Manufacturing expertise to minimize all forms of waste

Compliances to standards

• Ensure compliances are fulfilled for statutory laws applicable.
• Ensure that company SOPs are followed and wherever missing shall be instrumental in drafting SOPs
• Ensure timely compliances

Team Leadership:

• Promote cross functional team approach with effective connect to ensure KPIs and KRAs are properly met
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.

Performance Monitoring

• Monitor plant performance metrics and implement strategies to optimize energy costs and minimize downtime.
• Analyze performance data and prepare regular Management information system to take actions on time.

Quality & Maintenance Management

• Develop First time right” culture in Process Quality
• Improve availability of equipment through Autonomous maintenance and TPM
• Ensure SAP is effectively used for operational efficiency

Project Management:

• Lead and manage plant-related projects, including upgrades, expansions, and technology enhancements.
• Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and stakeholders as needed.
• Ensue process engineering/ value stream mapping – for operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including local authorities, regulatory agencies, and community groups.

Strategic Planning:

• Contribute to the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans for the solar plant.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and technological advancements.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering /mechanical engineering. Master’s degree will be

an added advantage.

Proven experience in managing Assembly line manufacturing facilities.

• 20+ years of work experience
