Purchase & Vendor Development Manager (Heavy Fabrication Industry)

We have urgent hiring for Purchase & Vendor Development Manager for Gurgaon location.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for heavy fabrication, machining, and critical components.

Conduct supplier audits to ensure quality, capability, and adherence to company standard.

Monitor vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

Work closely with Production, Quality, and Design teams to align procurement with project needs.

Prepare periodic reports on procurement status, supplier performance, and cost analysis.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in heavy engineering, structural fabrication, railways, defense, or capital goods industries.

Hands-on experience in supplier audits, contract negotiations, and cost control.

Experience - 8+ years in Purchase, Vendor Development, and Supply Chain Management in Heavy Fabrication/Engineering Industry

Industry -Heavy Fabrication, Sheet Metal, Structural Steel, Industrial Equipment.

Education - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain / Business Administration or equivalent.

Experience - Minimum 5-10 years in procurement, vendor development, or supply chain roles in Heavy Fabrication / Engineering Industry.

Technical Knowledge - Understanding of fabrication processes (cutting, welding, bending, machining).
