JOB DESCRIPTION:
To chalk out the entire Information Technology infrastructure master plan for enabling the satisfactory performance of the organization.

To prepare, monitor and update the entire IT asset inventory including servers, switches, laptops, desktops, data cards, LAN, Wi Fi etc.

To maintain the inventory of spare parts of various IT related instruments.

To devise and maintain the emergency breakdown mitigation plan and to have a ready back up plan.

To ensure to maintain Annual Maintenance Contracts of each IT asset and system and implementation of servicing and up gradation of the same from time to time.

To ensure adequate availability of internet and intranet at the premises for high performance of IT related instruments.

To prepare policy, procedures and standard operating manuals for effective functioning of all the IT equipment and instruments.

To maintain a system error and progress logbook to identify the future IT problems and threats.

To ensure that only official versions of software and operating systems are installed.

To ensure IT security and that the anti-virus net and firewalls are always active to prevent the possible damage to the assets of the organization.

To prepare the IT budget and to ensure to follow the same.

To maintain the inventory of passwords and create the mechanism of changing passwords of important workstations and systems from time to time.

To work out the time bound plan for taking back up of important and critical data and protection of the said data.

To conduct the IT Audits in a time bound manner and to prepare the report for improvisation of IT functioning.
