About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to lead client relationships and campaign strategy.
This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of digital marketing, excellent client management skills, and proven leadership abilities.
You will be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Be the agency's face and handle client interaction for projects related to social media, SEO, ORM, performance marketing, and other digital marketing services.
- Understand client's business objectives, target audience, and marketing challenges.
- Proactively suggest solutions and strategic recommendations.
- Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategy and identify opportunities for growth.
- Scope, estimate, and develop comprehensive digital media plans that deliver demonstrable results and ROI.
- Ensure effective delivery of client programs, meeting targets, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop content strategies that can create virality and amplify brand messaging.
- Contribute to the analytical and creative thought process in new business development pitches and ongoing projects.
- Oversee a team of Account Management staff across multiple projects.
- Mentor junior staff, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
- Evaluate candidates for promotions, added responsibilities, and increments.
- Assign Key Result Areas (KRAs) and ensure team members have a clear understanding of their job descriptions and expectations.
- Identify training and development needs of the team and coordinate with HR to provide appropriate training programs.
- Provide orientation to new joiners and deliver on-the-job training.
- Lead projects and provide the necessary creative and technical support.
- Work closely with the Design and Copy teams to deliver projects according to client requirements and within the agreed turnaround time.
- Gather and incorporate feedback from other departments.
- Keep track of ongoing projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project plans.
- Maintain a draft of project requirements and share them with the Content and Design teams for their understanding and execution.
- Monitor and improve the efficiency of report generation and project management processes.
- Develop a deep understanding of the brands and industries of allocated clients.
- Take ownership of self-development, staying up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members.
- Actively participate in training and development programs.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in account management, preferably in a digital marketing agency.
- Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering effective digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media, SEO, ORM, performance marketing, and other digital marketing channels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
