We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead our sales team and drive significant growth in the solar energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the solar industry, and a passion for renewable energy. This role requires frequent travel across South India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue and market share goals.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including government tenders and private sector projects.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Revenue Generation: Directly contribute to revenue generation through strategic sales initiatives.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
- Performance Management: Set and track sales targets, analyze sales performance, and implement corrective actions.
- Financial Planning: Prepare and manage sales budgets and forecasts.
- Industry Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and associations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10-12 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the solar energy industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the solar energy market, products, and technologies.
- Ability to travel frequently within South India.
- Proficiency in using CRM and sales tools.
