Job Description

The Cohort manager will be managing student life activities within the campus with the aim to provide students with the best campus experience, this includes, but is not limited to- events, Clubs, tech Boot campus volunteering activities, and counseling services.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Student Support and Guidance: Provide assistance to students in navigating the EdTech platform, troubleshooting technical issues, and addressing queries related to the learning materials or resources.
  • Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitate the onboarding process for new students, guiding them through the platform, its features, and ensuring they understand how to access and use the educational tools effectively.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) Maintenance: Oversee the functionality and usability of the Learning Management System, ensuring it operates smoothly and efficiently. This involves managing user accounts, course enrollment, and content updates.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze student data and performance metrics within the EdTech platform. This might include tracking engagement, progress, and assessment results, then generating reports to evaluate student performance.
  • Communication and Engagement: Maintain consistent and clear communication with students, providing updates on courses, events, and any changes or improvements within the platform. Encourage and facilitate student engagement with the platform and its resources.
  • Training and Support Resources: Develop training materials, guides, and resources to assist students in effectively using the EdTech platform. This may involve creating tutorials, FAQs, or video guides.
  • Collaboration with Educators or Instructors: Work closely with educators or instructors to ensure the alignment of the EdTech platform with the curriculum. Collaborate to enhance the learning experience and address any issues or improvements needed in the platform.
  • Community Building: Foster a sense of community among students using the EdTech platform. This might involve organizing online discussions, forums, or activities that encourage interaction and collaboration among students.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collect feedback from students about their experience with the platform, gather suggestions for improvements, and work with the development team to enhance the platform based on user needs.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent people skills, ability to connect and empathize with others .
  • Extremely creative and organized individual who can strategize and also manage the

operations for the cohorts.

  • Excellent quantitative, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills as well as excellent written and verbal skills
  • Passion for performing the best with the deadlines and restricted time frame with optimum

utilization of resources.

  • Ability to direct, manage, implement and evaluate department operations.
  • Independent facilitator with proven organizational ability and skill for handling multiple tasks

simultaneously
