IoT Architect - AWS Cloud Environments (9-14 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled IoT Architect to design and implement vehicle-to-cloud connectivity architectures for On-Premise and AWS Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining IoT technical architectures, supporting stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with security protocols and network standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design :

- Define the vehicle-to-cloud connectivity architecture for connected services in On-Premise and AWS environments.

- Establish the IoT (MQTT) technical architecture for seamless connectivity.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide technical guidance on IoT protocols (MQTT, AMQP, TLS/mTLS).

- Ensure compliance with security and authentication frameworks such as OAuth2, OpenID, and X.509 certificate management.

- Design end-to-end solutions by developing and approving sequence flows, infrastructure designs, and failure mode effect analysis.

Implementation & Support :

- Define functional and technical requirements for IoT solutions.

- Oversee technical deployments, end-to-end testing, and acceptance processes (Go-to-Production).

- Provide expertise for disaster recovery planning (DRP), monitoring, and auditing solutions.

Investigate complex incidents (L4 support) and deploy new solutions, including :

- Network capture analysis

- MQTT connection debugging

- mTLS handshake debugging

- B2B IoT Broker

- MQTT/Kafka Connectivity

- Reverse Proxy Implementation

Platform Connectivity :

- On-Premise & AWS Network Infrastructure

- Interface with Vehicle & Partner Connectivity Systems

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Mandatory Skills: IoT Architecture & Design

Preferred Skills :

- Protocols: MQTT, AMQP, HTTP

- Security & Authentication : TLS/mTLS, OAuth2, OpenID, IDP concepts, LDAP

- Token & Certificate Management : X.509 Certificate Management

- Cloud & Networking : On-Premise & AWS Cloud Integration

Education & Experience :

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Network & Telecommunications, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing IoT solutions.

Challenges & Expectations :

- Work in a complex connected vehicle ecosystem covering multiple technologies and global deployments.

- Ensure the IoT architecture aligns with global standards while allowing for regional adaptations.

- Act as a technical consultant for IoT solutions, collaborating with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.
