About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IoT Engineer to lead and build our IoT team, focusing on medical device integration.

This role requires a strong technical background, leadership abilities, and experience in designing, developing, and deploying IoT solutions within the healthcare domain.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, ensuring compliance, and delivering robust, scalable IoT architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and expand the IoT engineering team to drive innovation and performance.

- Architect, design, and implement IoT solutions for medical device integration with cloud platforms.

- Develop and manage secure, real-time data transmission between medical devices and cloud infrastructure.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, FDA, IEC 62304, etc.) and industry best practices.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Software, Cloud, Embedded, Security) to ensure seamless system integration.

- Optimize IoT solutions for low latency, high reliability, and security in medical environments.

- Evaluate and implement AI/ML models for IoT-based predictive analytics and remote monitoring.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex IoT connectivity and integration issues.

Key Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in IoT development, including medical device integration.

- Expertise in IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, BLE, Zigbee, LoRa, NB-IoT).

- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT).

- Hands-on experience in embedded systems programming (C, C++, Python, Rust).

- Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontroller-based development.

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices in IoT and medical device environments.

- Experience in wireless communication technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE-M, 5G).

- Previous leadership experience in hiring, mentoring, and managing an IoT engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with AI/ML applications in IoT.

- Familiarity with FHIR, HL7 standards for healthcare interoperability.

- Knowledge of edge computing and real-time data processing.

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps for IoT deployment.
