Junior WordPress Developer
Title: Junior WordPress Developer
Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Job Type: Internship
Experience: Freshers with strong basic WordPress skill
Job Summary: We are looking for a Junior WordPress Developer with 0-1 year of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of WordPress website development, customization, and troubleshooting. You will work closely with senior developers, designers, and content teams to build responsive, SEO-friendly, and high-performance websites. Experience with Figma for design implementation and setting up WordPress on localhost is preferred.
Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and manage WordPress themes and plugins.
- Develop and customize WordPress websites based on project requirements.
- Optimize websites for performance, security, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors.
- Implement custom styling using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work with Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders to design and structure pages.
- Ensure websites are responsive and cross-browser compatible.
- Perform regular updates and backups for WordPress websites.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to enhance UI/UX.
- Convert Figma designs into functional WordPress pages with pixel-perfect accuracy.
- Set up WordPress on localhost using XAMPP or LocalWP for development and testing.
- Work with basic PHP and MySQL for minor backend modifications (preferred).
- Basic understanding of WordPress installation, setup and configuration.
- Knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins and widgets.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of responsive design and UI/UX best practices.
- Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders.
- Knowledge of basic SEO principles and optimization techniques.
- Awareness of website security measures and performance optimization.
- Ability to convert Figma designs into WordPress layouts.
- Experience in setting up WordPress on localhost (XAMPP, LocalWP, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL (preferred).
- Eagerness to learn and improve skills.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to stay updated with WordPress trends and best practices.
