- A highly motivated Senior Associate to join our Strategy and Operations team within our Investment Banking division.
- This pivotal role will involve partnering closely with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives, optimize operational efficiencies, and support the overall growth and success of our business.
- The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with a deep understanding of financial markets and investment banking operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with the firm's overall business objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and industry assessments to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends.
- Drive the implementation of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and timelines.
2. Operational Excellence and Process Improvement:
- Evaluate existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and optimize resource allocation across business units.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and ensure seamless execution of operational enhancements.
3. Financial Analysis and Modeling:
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including valuation modeling, financial statement analysis, and scenario planning.
- Prepare robust financial reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Support deal teams in evaluating potential transactions, conducting due diligence, and assessing financial feasibility.
4. Risk Management and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across all strategic initiatives and operational activities.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with business decisions, recommending appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
5. Project Management and Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional project teams, guiding them through all phases of project execution from planning to implementation.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or a related industry, with a focus on strategy development and operational improvement
- Having IB deal execution experience will be a big positive.
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis, financial modelling, and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and driving results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to prioritze projects is a must have.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
