VP - TMT Investment Banking

Experience:

• Minimum years of Investment Banking / sell side M&A experience.
• Experience in IT/ ITeS highly preferred but not mandatory

Skills:

• Strong written & oral communication skills
• Strong accounting and financial skills
• Proficient in preparation of Information Memorandums, Pitches and Teasers
• Proficiency in financial modelling & valuation techniques
• Ability to multi-task and execute multiple mandates timely with minimal supervision.
• Ability to negotiate offers, deal structures, transaction documents (and key issues) involved in an M&A process
• Team player & ability to work in a globally dispersed team
• Flexibility to travel across APAC, Europe and the US
• Comfortable with Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
• Conversant with databases like S&P, CapIQ, pitch book, Delphai etc.
• Passion towards Investment Banking

Location: Flexibility to work from home (Open to work at UK timings)

Responsibilities:

Execution:

• Responsible to execute transactions end to end including the preparation of Pitches, Information Memorandums and Financial Models
• Doing target and acquirer screening
• Participate in management/buyer meetings, handle Q&As and negotiate offers
• Assistance in drafting and evaluating various legal documents like NDAs, etc.,
• Facilitation of buyer and seller interactions (organizing road shows, conference calls, etc.,)
• Drafting meeting preparatory notes, management questionnaire, etc.,
• Manage the due diligence and transaction documentation process

Origination:

• Take an active part in business development efforts of the team by participating in origination activity and making client pitches
• Carry out extensive industry / company research and target data required for identification and assessment of possible mandates

Preferred candidate profile

• CA/CFA mandatory (MBAs with relevant experience can be considered)
