Job Summary:

The Land Procurement Officer is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and acquiring land assets that align with the organizations strategic development goals. This role involves conducting market research, negotiating with landowners and government bodies, performing due diligence, and ensuring all transactions comply with local regulations and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Market Research & Analysis:
• • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential land acquisition opportunities.
• • Analyze market trends, zoning regulations, and development feasibility studies to support strategic decision-making.
• • Land Identification & Evaluation:
• • Identify and evaluate prospective land parcels for suitability in alignment with organizational objectives.
• • Assess land value, potential risks, and development constraints.
• • Negotiation & Acquisition:
• • Lead negotiations with landowners, developers, and government agencies to secure favorable terms.
• • Prepare and review offer documents, contracts, and agreements in coordination with legal teams.
• • Due Diligence & Compliance:
• • Oversee the due diligence process, including title verification, environmental assessments, and risk analysis.
• • Ensure all land transactions adhere to applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• • Stakeholder Coordination:
• • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and development departments, to align land procurement activities with broader project goals.
• • Liaise with external stakeholders such as local authorities, surveyors, and consultants.
• • Reporting & Documentation:
• • Maintain accurate records of land transactions, negotiations, and due diligence findings.
• • Prepare regular reports on land acquisition progress, market conditions, and strategic recommendations for senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• • Educational Background:
• • Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Land Use Planning, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Real Estate Certification) is a plus.
• • Experience:
• • Proven experience in land procurement, real estate acquisition, or property management.
• • Experience in negotiation, contract management, and market analysis is highly desirable.
