Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the oil and gas EPC sector. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems for complex oil and gas projects. This role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, optimizing electrical designs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Develop and review detailed electrical designs, Load list, Equipment sizing, schedules, SLD`s, schematics, BOM`s and layouts for oil and gas facilities, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and instrumentation systems.
• Project Management: Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical reports, design documents, and specifications related to electrical systems and projects.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs and implementations comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical systems, addressing any issues that arise during construction and operation.
• Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall project.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering practices and technologies to continuously improve project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma/Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with significant expertise in the oil and gas EPC sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD, EPLAN), strong knowledge of electrical systems and standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NEC).
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certifications are preferred.
