Job Description
- Analyze and design projects for telecommunication towers including the preparation of reports with results and recommendations.
- Analyze and design projects for telecommunication rooftop installations and analysis of imposed loading to building structures.
- Perform structural calculations and propose methods of reinforcing if necessary.
- Assist the project manager with the completion of the analysis and correction of drawings.
- Prepare specifications and other technical documentation.
- Prepare budgetary estimates to assist project manager.
- Coordinate work with technicians and inspectors working on the project.
- Perform other related duties as project implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in structures, a masters degree would be an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of the S37 and S16 standard. Other standards such as A23.3 is an asset
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in structural design in telecommunications and other structures. (building and / or other types of structures)
- Experience in "rooftop" structures considered an asset.
- Sense of initiative, attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Bilingualism an asset.
