Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead and manage a team of structural design engineers and specialists.

• Collaborate with other departments such as project management, procurement, and quality control to ensure timely delivery.

Structural Design Oversight:

• Oversee the design of telecom towers and related structures ensuring compliance with local and international codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IS, Eurocode, ANSI).
• Lead the preparation of structural design calculations, drawings, and reports for telecom tower foundations, steel structures, and other related components.
• Review design proposals, making sure they meet safety, reliability, and performance standards.

Project Management:

• Coordinate with project teams to establish design requirements, timelines, and resources.
• Monitor the design process to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Quality Control:

• Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures for design work.
• Review and ensure that designs adhere to internal and external quality standards.

Technical Guidance:

Key Skills:

• Structural Engineering Expertise: Deep knowledge in designing telecom towers, steel structures, foundation design, and load-bearing calculations.
• Design Software Proficiency: Experience with structural design software like STAAD.Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
• Project Management: Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, manage teams, and work within deadlines.
• Knowledge of Codes & Standards: Familiarity with national and international design standards for telecom towers (IS 875, Eurocodes, etc.).
