Job Description:

• Business Requirements: Understand business requirements in a BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Dashboard Creation: Create dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power BI.
• Data Relationships: Create relationships between data sources and develop data models accordingly.
• DAX Functions: Have good knowledge of various DAX functions and queries.
• Schema Awareness: Awareness of star and snowflake schemas in Power BI modeling.
• Data Source Connectivity: Ability to connect to various data sources like ORACLE SQL, Snowflake, SAP, etc.
• SQL Skills: Execute simple SQL statements with basic knowledge of aggregation functions, window functions, and all basic clauses in SQL.
• Power BI Apps: Able to work with Power BI Apps.
• Power BI Desktop & Cloud: Proficient in working with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Cloud.
• RLS and OLS Implementation: Able to implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) in Power BI Cloud Desktop.
• Parameter Usage: Able to use parameters in Power BI.
• Independence: Able to work independently.
• Business Functionality: Understand the business functionality of the application and provide clarifications on bridge calls for critical incidents.
• Timely Delivery: Ensure on-time delivery as per agreed ETAs.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of deliverables.
• Communication: Demonstrate good spoken, written, and prompt communication.
• Improvement Identification: Identify areas of improvement and propose solutions for implementation.
• Production Support: Experience in production support and interacting with customers is a value add.
• Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Interpersonal Skills: Should have good interpersonal and communication skills.
