Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business intelligence concepts, data modeling, and visualization techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard & Report Development: Design, build, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports that meet the business needs.

Data Analysis: Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data models and visualizations.

Data Integration: Connect Power BI to various data sources such as SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and other data platforms.

Data Modeling: Create data models and relationships within Power BI for seamless reporting and analysis.

Optimization: Improve performance and ensure best practices for Power BI dashboards and reports.

Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and key stakeholders to provide insights and data-driven decisions.

Automation: Create automated data refresh schedules for timely report generation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 2-6 years of experience working as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Power BI (desktop, service, and embedded)

Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation

Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)

Knowledge of data modeling, relationships, and ETL processes

Hands-on experience with Power Query and M language

Analytical Skills: Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to deal with large datasets.

Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with Excel, Python, R, or other data analysis tools is a plus.

Soft Skills: Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Power BI or Microsoft Data Analytics.

Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
