Discrete Event Simulation Engineer

• Discrete Event Simulation Discrete Event and In-Plant Logistics Simulation Layout & Process validation (Plant and Shop) Analysis and Optimization of Plant and Facility Logistics
• Experience in Siemens - Plant Simulation software for writing operation & codes
• Facility layout study and Bottleneck Analysis for the system capacity
• Experience in system optimisation, cost avoidance, best practises capturing and sharing this with relevant stakeholders
• Coordinate projects and teams feedback of results as required th rough design / project reviews / DES Dashboards
• Experience in bottleneck analysis of the system and develop strategies to remove
• Support the continual development of tools and techniques which enhance capability, improve quality and robustness of DES models

Other Skills:

• Ability to work to high quality to tight deadlines
• Writing simtalk (codes) in Siemens - Plant Simulation software
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and manage priorities
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations to work groups and senior ma nagement
• Can work in isolation requiring minimal intervention from client/onshore Co-ordinator
• Demonstrable Working knowledge and experience of Discrete Event Simulation toolset
• Demonstrable previous experience and background in production process flow simul ation, problem solving on complex technical systems
• Good communicator both verbal and written EnglishSoftware Skill:
• Profici ent in tools like Plant Simulation, Quest, Witness, AutoCAD
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
• Knowledge of object orie nted programming any language (c++, Java,etc)
