Discrete Event Simulation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Creation and execution of material flow simulation process models
• Creation of new and modification of existing simulation models in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation
• Validation of simulation models
• Elaboration and evaluation of scenarios for optimization of KPIs
• Communication with partners and customers from start to end of project; documentation of project data and results

Preferred candidate profile -

B Tech/MTech (Any Specialization)

Skills we are looking for:

1. Exposure towards Discrete Event simulation - preferably #PlantSimulation

2. Learning Mindset

3. Understanding of Industrial Engineering concepts

4. Comfortable with writing logics as needed

5. Strong analytical mindset Job Responsibilities (Duties)

6. Experience in Detailed Logistics process modeling.

7. Object oriented programming skills, Expert in SimTalk programming language

8. Experience in statistics

9. Layout routes planning process and simulation.

10. Experience in MHE number findings, Utilization optimization and buffer analysis

11. Experience in working in international environment

12. Experience in project management activities: project report preparation, project documentation, interaction with partners for technical discussion
