Job Description
Camstar Developer, and General Desktop Application Support to Manufacturing sites
Location
Bengaluru
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to Camstar/Opcenter (MES) and other shop floor applications
- Performs comprehensive functionality tests of new and updated applications to verify desired results are
achieved. - Perform or assist in root cause investigations and MES changes/updates.
- Make required configuration changes as requested by functional team
- Trains other developers on Opcenter MES technical development.
- Communicate configurations / customizations to technical team
Script / code minor enhancements
Develop screens in Portal Studio Framework.
Need to have knowledge in Opcenter Designer.
SCOPE:
Camstar Developer, and General Desktop Application Support to Manufacturing sites
EDUCATION:
- Required: Bachelor s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, manufacturing or a related field
- PREFERRED: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
- 2+ years working with MES systems, or as a Developer in the manufacturing domain.
PREFERRED:
- 2 years supporting Opcenter/Camstar
- 2 year of object-oriented Web development using Java/C#.NET
- 2 years of application and desktop and infrastructure support
SKILLS ABILITIES:
- Experience in CAMSTAR MES is a plus but not a must.
- Strong experience in C#, Asp.net, MVC, Web Services, Web API, Entity Framework.
- Working experience in WCF, Web Services, design patterns, jquery, javascript is a plus.
- Knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL server,Oracle or others), and SQL
- Good understanding and experience of plant manufacturing processes.
- Ability to communicate in English
- Experience in Siemens Opcenter(Camstar)(PREFERRED:)
