Job Description

  • Validate the information provided on the order form against the criterion provided in the Local Work Instructions
  • Using the available inventory systems and the information provided by the Customer determine the best method of connecting the required Customer site or sites to the VF Transmission Network
  • If the Customer service is an MSP service, select the most appropriate MSP PE router as determined in the Local Work Instructions and allocate a terminating port
  • If the Customer service connects to the VF network using an OLO, allocate network capacity at the selected POP
  • Determine the hardware, Cabling, Multiplexes or Cards are required to deliver the Customer service.
  • Populate Amdocs with the services and features required by the Customer for their order
  • Drive system & process improvement projects to ensure timely & cost effective provisioning
  • Analyze need for capacity augmentation/optimization to address capacity crunch in networks.
  • Responsibilities
  • Handling escalations & resolving planning related issues
  • Should keep good quality of work, maintain data integrity
  • Quick response to customer queries
  • Co-ordinating with the Project managers in providing solution to complex situations.
  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves problems, and takes corrective action when necessary.
  • Ensures that all functions are performed in a timely fashion to meet agreed SLAs.
  • Minimum qualification & experience Graduate Degree in Engineering Electronics & Telecommunications and Relevant experience 0 to1 .5 years in network infrastructure management Desired Skill sets

Knowledge on telecom products/services like Fixed, Wireless & IP services etc.

  • Basic understanding of telecom standards & protocols
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective Communication Skills - Written & Verbal
  • Coordination skills and taking the right approach logically
  • Exposure to International client facing functions
