Metallurgy Lab Technician

Roles and Responsibilities

• Metallography Sample Preparation
• Perform test to assess welding assemblies and weld penetration measurements
• Maintain 5S of Lab equipment
• Keep track of lab consumables and test records
• Should have understanding regarding GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) processes and procedures

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Diploma in Metallurgy or related discipline
• 0-2 years of experience working in a laboratory in the field of metallurgy testing
• Knowledge on international standards and codes
• Industries Preferred: Automobile

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Millipore testing
• Computer skills in application programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel & Access Performs tests independently.
• Good communication skills
• Good team player
