We have an excellent opportunity for Supply Chain-Procurement for Electronics Component sourcing role for Bangalore location.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Should have excellent knowledge of Purchase & Vendor Development functional processes.

Should be able to develop & implement the right purchase practices to ensure material availability in the least possible lead time to meet customer demand.

Should be able to develop & implement the right processes for Supplier identification, evaluation and qualification, and Performance Evaluation

Should be able to develop Purchase Strategies for Relevant Products and drive efficiency improvement projects, Cost reduction projects, etc.

Anticipate Supplier Risks and develop Strategies to mitigate the Risk.

Should handle New Product Launch program with cross-functional team effectively.

Should have rich experience in dealing with overseas suppliers and import processes.

Cost Analysis / Price forecasting & contracting.

Build & sustain long-term effective supplier relationships.

Monitor ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.

Should be able to drive cost reduction projects with the Team by adopting various tools.

Should have strong price negotiation skills with long-term vision.

Regular feedback to Management for Commodity Price movement.

Must be a good Team player with a positive attitude.

Continue to work on opportunities for improvements within Sourcing by bringing out-of-the-box ideas.

Must have Good Analytical skills & Data-driven approach to problem-solving.

Should have a Proactive & responsive approach.

Must have strong leadership skills to drive the team towards better performance in a motivational environment.

Should be able to define measurable KPIs with the team and drive them for achievement.

Preferred candidate profile:

BE- Electronics /Electrical/Instrumentation with 15-20 years experience at Managerial Level with a Product Manufacturing organization, preferably Defence/Aerospace Industry. Negotiate the best possible deals with suppliers. Excellent communication, and leadership abilities, experienced Purchasing professional to handle company's procurement activities. The responsibilities include developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, developing effective vendors, coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs, and overseeing the purchasing team in their daily activities. Should be able to manage and optimize purchasing activities and processes.
