We have an excellent opportunity for Supply Chain-Procurement for Mechanical Component sourcing role for Bangalore location.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with local and global business and category strategies while ensuring suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
• Supplier selection and performance: TCO Savings, Payment terms, OTD, Quality, lead time, budget target settings, and follow up for continuous improvement.
• Providing and maintaining standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with Company directives and guidelines.
• Designing and implementing cost-out programs and/or processes to reach annual savings and operational cost reduction targets.
• Verify cost and pricing calculations and maintain accurate project books and records, including SAP data.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies and assist in pricing analytics for benchmarking and competitors analysis for price trends.
• Track & report key functional metrics to reduce expenses & improve effectiveness. Control spending, build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Graduation in Mechanical/Production/Industrial (Mandatory); Postgraduate degree (Preferred MBA in Supply Chain Management, General, Imports & Exports Management, etc.).
• Certifications: Courses in Data Analytics, Problem Solving, Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, CSCP, CPSM, etc.
• Experience: 02~05 years in procurement and supply chain management, including direct parts procurement and sourcing in Mechanical parts (Casting, Sheet Metal, Hydraulics, Fabrication, Machining/Hi-Tech industries.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Sound knowledge of materials engineering, metal market rates, manufacturing processes, labor rates & manufacturing burden rates & overheads at various locations will be an added advantage.
• Strong Data Analytics and Continuous Improvement mindset with demonstrated negotiation skills in a multicultural, global business environment.
