About Strategic Alliances and Developer Ecosystem
The Alliance Ecosystem within Tally is focused on managing our relationship with Alliance Partners. As part of our strategy, we develop high quality alliances with large technology firms like Meta, Amazon, Oracle, as well as with banks and regulatory bodies like GSTN to build powerful connected services for our customers.
You will work closely with the Alliance Partners to ensure consistent delivery of delightful customer experiences and collaborative associations across geographies.

Role: Lead/AGM - Strategic Alliances
Experience: 8 - 12 years
Location: Bangalore
What will you own.
In this role, you will drive strategic alliances by identifying, evaluating, and nurturing partnerships with key stakeholders, including technology firms, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies. You will take ownership of end-to-end alliance management, from qualifying opportunities to designing and executing joint programs that deliver measurable value. The role demands a proactive approach to aligning alliance strategies with business objectives, ensuring timely execution, and fostering collaboration across functions and levels both internally and externally. With a focus on business development, you will act as a trusted advisor, leveraging your interpersonal and communication skills to build meaningful, long-term relationships that drive growth and innovation.
Experience to bring with you.
- 8-12 years of experience in business development, strategic alliances, or sales, particularly within fintech, technology, or B2B domains.
- Experience in Alliances/Sales in B2B especially among financial institutions or large technology companies.
- Connect with leadership at key banks and financial institutions or with the technology ecosystem preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, an ability to build rapport across various levels in an organisation.
- Solid understanding of accounting and finance, with exposure to developing solutions for MSMEs in collaboration with product and business teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to engage effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
- Expertise in tools like Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations.
What you will be doing ?
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key alliance partners within your designated segment, ensuring Tally's initiatives are effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Position Tally as the preferred partner for business-focused initiatives among stakeholders at partner institutions.
- Maintain a clear understanding of each institution's organizational structure, identifying any personnel or structural changes that may impact collaboration.
- Define a long-term strategic vision for each alliance partner, thinking beyond existing offerings and conceptualizing new, customer-centric joint solutions.
- Develop joint business plans with alliance partners, aligned with the shared vision, and establish governance frameworks to monitor and review progress.
- Manage a pipeline of alliance opportunities, qualifying prospects, reviewing them with leadership in a timely manner, and maintaining continuous communication with partners on status updates.
- Create actionable business cases and plans that can be tracked throughout the lifecycle of each alliance opportunity.
