System Administrator - DevOps (3-6 yrs)

Role & Responsibilities :

- Must be able to manage multiple servers remotely and understand the criticality of production infrastructure and change management. Must be proficient in Linux command shell (bash) and basic scripting.

- Should have first-hand experience of container technologies like docker, docker compose, docker swarm, Kubernetes

- Basic database system administration experience related to MySQL, Postgres and CouchDB including backup, restore, replication and optionally scaling

- Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS servers like NGINX/Apache/Spring Boot/JBOSS. must understand SSL Certificate installation, expiration etc.

- Understanding of networking (DNS, Ports, firewalls, VLAN, VPC etc.) including basic network debugging and configuration

- Experience in Health monitoring, and preventive maintenance of servers using open source or third-party tools.

- Experience of working/liaising with a data centre service provider for controlling downtime, outages etc.

- Experience with cloud technology (AWS, Azure and GCP) is nice to have.

- Experience with developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools for automated cloud infrastructure management
